It’s always great to have as much notice as possible when enquiring to hire a musician or band, but we can, and have, delivered short-notice bookings within less than 24 hours. Musician diaries fill up quickly – particularly for weekends and key dates. The sooner you contact us in advance, the more likely your favourite musicians will be available.
For private events (e.g. weddings and parties), we usually require a 50% deposit upfront via bank transfer, with the remainder to be paid 1 month before the event.
For private and corporate bookings less than 1 month away, we require payment in full upfront.
For regular venue clients, we can work to flexible payment plans and monthly payment runs. Please contact us to discuss your requirements further.
We usually take payment via bank transfer in order to reduce transaction charges and keep the cost lower for our customers. We can discuss alternative payment methods for international clients, or if you have a specific payment method request, please get in touch
Yes, all our musicians and bands come with their own Public Liability Insurance, which is renewed on an annual basis. If your venue has requested a copy of this, please let us know and we can send the document over. If your event is around at least a year away, or the PLI is due for renewal before the event date, please ask us for a copy closer to the time instead.
Each musician page details what equipment they bring to events. All of our acts provide their own PA system as standard. If your venue has a PA already, our musicians can use this. We would require details of the PA in advance to check it is suitable.
Our function bands are made up of a pool of various professional musicians. We reserve the right to replace any musician in the band according to availability for the event date. By confirming a booking, you agree that this may not be the same musician as featured in the band showreel, but will be of the same calibre. We will inform you in advance if there is a change to the lead vocalist in the band. This does not affect solo musician bookings and the solo act you booked will always be the same musician as seen in their video showreels.
Each musician sets their own base rate depending on a number of factors.
Quotes tend to increase for peak date or premium occasion enquiries including (but not limited to):
Friday evenings and Saturdays
Bank holidays
Weddings, private events and corporate functions
Performances longer than 2 x 45 mins for solos, 2 x 60 mins for bands or 4 hours for DJs.
Earlier set up times (more than an hour before performance start) or long breaks between sets.
Non-local events – we need to factor in travel costs and travel time for our acts, and accommodation where required.
New Years Eve and other key occasions such as Easter and Christmas. New Years Eve bookings are often triple standard rates.
For bookings in London, we ask for congestion and ULEZ charges to be covered.
Off peak bookings: Many of our musicians may consider offering discounts for off-peak midweek events, block bookings or regular, repeat bookings and residencies. We’re always happy to discuss budgets with venues who wish to hire us as their sole, exclusive supplier and develop an ongoing working relationship together.
